Sangre de Cristo Series 6, No.15 - 6" x 6"

Oil paint and acrylic paint on panel finished with matte varnish. An original southwest landscape painting of a full moon over the Sangre de Cristo Mountains near Santa Fe, New Mexico. 6 x 6 inch masonite panel in a handcrafted hardwood frame with black and gold finish. With the frame the piece is ~7.5 x ~7.5 inches and ~1.5 inch depth. This piece heavily features interference oil paint which is what accounts for the metallic, almost holographic reflection qualities.
