This a GORGEOUS, GEM QUALITY piece of amber with a Spider and 2 Ticks from the late Cretaceous of Myanmar! They are all in incredible condition with all limbs and segments articulated and in fine detail! The amber is gorgeous Light Citrine color with EXCELLENT GEM QUALITY clarity! It comes in a 1-inch gem jar for easy transport and display! The amber's dimensions measure 12 x 7.5 x 2 millimeters! Amber is petrified tree resin (not sap, resin is much thicker). It forms when trees secrete resin, and the resin is quickly washed away by water and deposited in a lake where it is covered by sediment (if the resin isn’t washed away it decomposes or gets eaten).
