This is a beautiful HUGE authentic Mosasaur tooth from Eremiasaurus heterodontus from the late Cretaceous of Morocco! The tooth measures 3.4 inches (8.63 cm) which is HUGE for this species! There's also a second, unerupted crown within the root! The piece has a pointy tip, a large complete root, and zero repair or restoration which is very hard to find on Moroccan teeth of this size! It comes in a double sided clear display case with a stand for easy transport and display! Mosasaurs are huge carnivorous marine reptiles that lived alongside dinosaurs from 101 to 66 million years ago. Some approached 60 feet (18 meters) in length! They aren't dinosaurs but are close relatives of snakes and lizards. Eremiasaurus heterodontus is a small species of Mosasaur that could grow to lengths of 16 feet!
