This is a beautiful large authentic Mosasaur tooth from Mosasaurus beaugei from the late Cretaceous of Morocco! The tooth measures 3.42 inches (8.68 cm) with a sharp tip, a large complete root, and zero repair or restoration which is very hard to find on Moroccan teeth of this size! It comes in a double sided clear display case with a stand for easy transport and display! Mosasaurs are huge carnivorous marine reptiles that lived alongside dinosaurs from 101 to 66 million years ago. Some approached 60 feet (18 meters) in length! They aren't dinosaurs but are close relatives of snakes and lizards. Mosasaurus beaugei is a large species of Mosasaur that could grow to lengths of over 30 feet!
