Last Rocket Arrangement no. 2

2017Found objects and materials20” x 45” The Last Rocket arrangements are an experiment in low footprint, zero waste sculpture and installation. Beginning with this second entry in this subset of Last Rockets, each is comprised entirely of found objects and discarded materials. No adhesives, fasteners, or finishes are applied to the materials. This rocket is composed of chandelier crystals fished from a dumpster, hinges and a broken wooden handle found on a derelict industrial property, a form made of sculpey left in an artist’s studio, and a porcelain and metal fixture found in a gravel lot.
