The vase features a long leaf motif and a colorful greenish-blue glaze with pops of color.Beach’s careful brushwork blends a rainbow of colors in a series of short strokes. The work retains a wonderful surface.The work is oil on canvas laid to board and is signed in the lower left. It is housed in its original frame.Paintings by Beach are very scarce, and this is among the best one can find. The most recent auction result for one of his paintings was at New Orleans Auction Galleries on March 17, 2018, lot 282.
