One sits while the other stands - both with glimmering eyes. The small bird, with its mouth slightly open, rests on a green water bowl. Hay lines the floor of the barn, while the door opens up to the rest of the property outside.The work is signed “F. Roberts” (?) in the lower left. The work is oil on canvas mounted to masonite.
