"Sockeye Salmon" This painting was inspired by one of my trips to a remote cabin i stayed in Alaska . Wow! Thousands of salmon . Incredible abundance. The rainbow trout follow them as they spawn to feast on their eggs. The circle of life. I love the way the light casts over their backs and the very colorful rocks on the river beds.
