Moon Photography I visited Yosemite in April of 2022 with the aim of getting some shots of the Pink Moon (My main focus was getting a shot of the moonbows). The night of the full moon, I hiked five miles and 3,200 feet up Four Mile trail to get to Glacier Point. The road was closed, and parts of the trail were still covered in snow. After a jaw dropping hike up during sunset, I hit Glacier Point as the moon was rising to the east.  The skies were clear and cold as I tried shooting the full moon with all my tools I rented for the job. With a 400mm telephoto lens and a 2x converter, I was able to punch right into the moon and the landscape of the Sierras. Which also meant I could watch it move across my viewfinder away from the horizon. For something that moves so slow, it moved really fast! I was continually adjusting to keep it in frame.
