Brass Peso Turquoise Earrings

These earrings are made from a Mexican coin, called a peso! I hammer them out just enough to allow the inner coin to pop out. Then I get to work on getting rid of the stamping of the coin and texturize it with one of my hammers I put holes into once they’ve been texturized. I assemble them together using brass materials I love the mixed metals that these earrings offer and I love to recycle materials as it is so much fun!
