Golden Ginkgo

The Ginkgo tree is known for its spectacular leaf color change to a brilliant yellow in the fall with its beautiful, unique fan-shaped leaves.  One of Mississippi's most striking specimens of the ginkgo can be found in the Vicksburg National Military Park.  In the fall, the huge tree becomes a glorious blaze of yellow.  Based on the massive trunk, it is very possible that this Ginkgo witnessed the fighting in Vicksburg during the Civil War.   Golden Ginkgo is a golden yellow tonal color.   Available in the following yarn bases.  For a listing of all yarn bases click here.  Yarn Bases Care of your hand knit garments   Please hand wash cold or lukewarm water and lay flat to dry.
