Rhea

Rhea was a primordial goddess and Queen of the Titans.  Rhea was the mother of the gods, and goddess of female fertility, motherhood, and generation. She represented the eternal flow of time and generations.  She was also a goddess of comfort and ease, a blessing reflected in the common Homeric phrase "the gods who live at their ease." Rhea was the daughter of Gaia and Uranus, and sister of Cronus.  She was also Cronus's wife. She gave birth to the first group of Olympian gods and goddesses, Hestia, Hades, Demeter, Poseidon, Hera and Zeus. Cronus believing one of his children would overthrow him, began swallowing each child that Rhea gave birth to.  Upon Zeus's birth, Rhea tricked Cronus by hiding Zeus in a cave and presenting to Cronus a rock wrapped in swaddling clothes instead.  Cronus ate the rock.  Zeus grew up safe returning later in life to free his brother and sisters.   Rhea is lovely variegated yarn of orange, green and brown    Available in the following yarn bases.  For a
