18th Century Worcester Porcelain Red Transfer Printed Teabowl. Transfer-printed in brick red with Robert Hancock's "La Cascade," pattern, illustrating a fashionable couple walking beside a mandolin player and a pair of amorous lovers, the obverse with a sculptural fountain, the interior with a slender band border. Not marked. Circa 1757. Approximately 2 1/2" H.  Chip to footrim. The print "La Cascade" derives from an engraving by G. Scotin after a painting by Watteau in the Wallace Collection.
