Details: The PC Engine Duo-R (PCエンジンDuo-R) is a cost-reduced version of the PC Engine Duo, and was released by NEC Home Electronics in March 1993.The Duo-R is essentially a slightly smaller Duo which removes the headphone socket and locking switch for the CD-ROM drive. It is otherwise exactly the same device, this time in a more rounded, white shell, which became the de-facto PC Engine system for the years which followed.
