Maheu Hinged Short Shank Curb Bit B11169

From famed bit maker, Ray Maheu.  5" sweet iron mouth with copper inlay and a hinge/scissor joint.  This joint prevents it from collapsing on the tongue without added correction. Swept back shank measuring 7 1/4″  This used bit comes mounted on this vintage looking Mexican style, one ear headstall.  I'm guessing they used loctite as it felt I would damage the headstall trying to separate them.     All used tack sold in 'as-is' condition.   Shipping cost includes insurance for the price of the item.
