With dramatic, natural fiery red hues and unpredictable swirly grain, the Lychee sparks energy in the room. It invites you to gather. It brings the outdoors in. With a curving and tapered form, the slab is set on four solid hardwood, mahogany column legs, located to follow the slab's bottom face. The table blends beautifully into organic home environments rich in natural woods and textures. About The SlabWe acquired this slab in our home island Maui, Hawaii near where JOHI was founded. Lychee in the islands is rarely left to grow to such sizes and the tree's owner estimates that the tree was a little older than him at the time of felling - around 80+ years. This Hawaii grown Lychee wood has such unique character and is perhaps the hardest wood we have had the opportunity to work with in our workshop. The slab is one of two tha
