U-N-I-T-Y

This a strand comprised of the 4 main colors Red, black, green, and yellow. These colors can be traced back to early twentieth century Pan-Africanism and the Ethiopian national flag. They have long been used as symbol of unity and pride. Each color having its own meaning and significance.  Black - Represents the resilient people whose existence as a nation is honored and affirmed by the existence of a flag.  Red - Symbolizes the blood of innocent Black lives that has been shed throughout history.
