Black Tourmaline, or Schorl, is a form of tourmaline that ranges from black to very dark green. Specimens considered "lower quality" are often more brittle and contain neat inclusions such as quartz, hematite, mica, and iron. High quality specimens are shinier but do not have inclusions of other minerals. Black tourmaline does not need cleansing or charging.
