When I was very young, my grandma made me a quilt with intricate embroidery stitches, that connected the lush velvet fabrics together. A crazy quilt she called it. Although it was made from scraps of fabric, it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. I loved to snuggle under the quilt and make up stories and dreams of traveling to magically places.
