"The Fine Line Between Love and Hate"

For thousands of years prior to the time of Hitler, the spiraling four legged cross was a symbol of peace for Native Americans and Buddhists. Hitler highjacked the symbol, flipped it around and gave it the opposite meaning. I think there is one thing we can all agree upon … we all wish he was admitted to art school … if he had, maybe the middle of the 20th century would have been a more peaceful place.     From my collection of “Finding Faith in the Abstract” The painting “The Fine Line Between Love and Hate”   Love is soft and yielding Hate is hard and rigid   Lennon wrote the lyrics of love Hitler held the hand of hate   In twisting the ancient symbol of peace Hitler harnessed hatred   May our love for humanity be stronger than all hate
