Eucalyptus – Eucalyptus reminds me of California. I know it's not a native plant to California, but, to me, it does feel so at home there. I'd often see Eucalyptus on my neighborhood walks, and it was a wonder to my South Carolina eyes that a Eucalyptus tree could grow in someone's front yard. It seems just right, there. A place that was warm, full of golden sunlight, the leaves shining a beautiful silver sheen. Now when I see Eucalyptus, it not only gives me a sense of calm, but it also reminds me just how beautiful the world can be.
