Ties (Diptych) - In Rhythm, Lay (18x9")

Note: This item is part of the exclusive Studio Sale. Approx dimensions ~18x9"  Ink on paper, hand deckled edge. Diptych of two pieces, float mounted with 1" space between each piece. Signed and dated by Julia. All of the pieces in Ties were painted with a house brush- the same brush I used to paint the walls of our house at the time. There is a close intimacy in the scale and material of the paper. This first piece ("In Rhythm," left) has a growth to it or a vibration that inspired me to keep going. This second piece ("Lay," right) has a gentle romantic feeling. The two side-by-side create an opening of vibrations, an expansion. Ships unframed. See framing suggestions below.
