Folk Garden Buttons: Daffodil

Includes the 10 buttons shown in the photo.  These hand-dyed and handmade clay buttons can be used to finish any needlework project.  Free instructions are also included to complete the project shown, finished in a 3" embroidery hoop.  You provide the fabric, floss and hoop. Tips and illustrations are included for adding embroidery stitches with pearl cotton #8 or 3 strands of embroidery floss. We love the hand-dyed pearl cotton from Weeks Dye Works and use it for all our models in the Folk Garden series. Note about the hoops: We stock 3" hoops in their natural wood color.  For this Folk Garden series, we've stained the hoops.  If you'd like to do the same, we recommend Americana Gel Wood Stain--color oak.  You can tint the stain with dark olive paint for variety.
