Ruby Siphonophore 2

  Jellyfish Earrings 2 3/4" Long 1/2" Across This glass is leftover from working on Kait's sculptures Salish Nettles and Red Polyp.  A gorgeous siphonophore jellyfish, clustered ruby colored glass murrine with faceted semi precious stones tentacles extended to catch unsuspecting plankton. A cluster of five mini hex murrine: blown glass, transparent red with an opaline interior, cut and fire polished. Assembled with faceted coral and three cascades of faceted citrine, garnet and semi precious stones on a darkened sterling silver chain.  Sterling silver findings with secure lever back earring clasp. - The glass was made at Pilchuck Glass School, Washington.
