It was a touch shy at the time of tasting, showing aromas of asphalt, ripe blackberries and dates. It’s youthful and still very fleshy and powerful upon entry. It also shows tremendous balance between tannic and acidic structure for a young wine, which is an excellent sign for the future. It’s a riper wine with tart cherry acidity tying it together and carrying it through to a finish with an ever-so-slight grip. No sediment noted." Winemakers' Notes
