All-Purpose Corte Throw 11

We took a vintage medium heavy-weight traditional cotton corte with beautiful hand-stitched randa embroidery, and converted it into one large piece of a versatile textile.  We think this makes a beautiful bedspread, picnic blanket, couch cover, camping blanket... and oh, so much more.  Our embroidery partners in Sumpango took the corte (traditional wrap skirt) and hand-stitched it further to suit full and queen size beds. We paid close attention to the randa placement, and we're very pleased with the results. The new hand-embroidery is a blanket stitch all along the edges, and a simple randa-style union all soft cochineal-dyed cotton thread. We're sure that you will love feeling cozy on this piece as much as we do. This is a truly one-of-a-kind item.   Please note that the modeled images were taken with a different color variety.
