The flap shuts easily with a magnet, and the adjustable strap can be removed for those occasions when you might prefer to carry the little clutch by hand. It really is a practical design! The front textile is backstrap-woven with ikat designs and dyed in natural indigo. The inner lining is made with a cochineal-dyed and handwoven textile. Both were newly-woven for Kakaw. The purchase of this product supports the traditional arts of natural dyeing and weaving in Guatemala as well as artisanal leatherwork.
