Schedule a week of backstrap weaving classes in Antigua Guatemala with us. This is a hands-on cultural immersion offering rooted in traditional craft, learning from master Maya Kaqchikel weavers. We'd be happy to coordinate a Monday - Friday weaving experience for 2-4 students. The week-long course starts with warping on a traditional warping board and continues to cover the loom setup, plain weave, and brocade figures famous from the weavers' hometown, San Antonio Aguas Calientes.
