AEM 1 Channel Coil Driver Accessory (30-2843)
The cheapest way to drive coils in a coil-on plug ignition setup is with AEM's Ignition Coil Drivers. Switching to a coil-on-plug ignition setup helps reduce dwell time problems that can be problematic in stock ignition systems. The ignition coil drivers made by AEM are intended to drive the two-wire ("dumb"), high-power coils that are typically used in performance engines. When switching to coil-on-plug-in engines that do not require the additional spark energy provided by a CDI or do not have the mounting space for a CDI, such as on ATVs, snowmobiles, motorcycles, and other Powersports applications, you can use our three- and four-channel igniter coil versions as a replacement for the stock coil driver. APPLICATIONS UNIVERSAL FEATURES Drive ignition coils on a coil-on-plug set-up without a CDI Three- and Four-Channel Ignition Coil Drivers are ideal for ATVs, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and racing vehicles with space limitations or those that do not require additional voltage generat
