And Into the Forest I Go John Muir Painted Wooden Painted Ovals

At least someone did, and that someone was naturalist John Muir. • I hand painted this lovely lady onto a textured wooden surface to hang on the wall. I used Holbein Acryla Gouche painted onto a wooden round. The pine wood panels measure about 12" tall. Also included on the back is my artist signature in green with the year it was created. • Holbein Acryla Gouache is a highly pigmented artist grade paint that is polymer based, unlike traditional gouache which is water-soluble once dry. Once the acryla gouache is dry it becomes water resistant and durable. However, I have varnished the final painting with Golden's Fluid Satin Medium (also polymer based), which gives the surface a velvety smooth sheen. • Your new art is water resistant and can hang in bathrooms or a high humidity atmosphere.
