Staying Home 5" Painted Round

• I hand painted this cozy scene onto a textured wooden surface to hang on the wall. This image was inspired by vintage children's book illustration and my 80s sticker collection. • I used Holbein Acryla Gouche painted onto a pine wood panel. The panel measures about 5" round and includes a saw tooth hanger on the back for easy hanging. Also included on the back is my artist signature in paint with the year it was created. • Holbein Acryla Gouache is a highly pigmented artist grade paint that is polymer based, unlike traditional gouache which is water-soluble once dry. Once the acryla gouache is dry is becomes water resistant and durable. However, I have varnished the final painting with Golden's Fluid Satin Medium (also polymer based), which gives the surface a velvety smooth sheen.  • Your new art is water resistant and can hang in bathrooms or a high humidity atmosphere. To clean the surface you can use a damp rag or dry cloth.
