
Monte Rio Coferment (Petit Verdot, Sauvignon Blanc) 2022 (750 ml)
A fun chillable red, the kind of wines we love drinking around the winery. A Raspberry quaffer. Appellation: Lodi Varietals: 50% Petit Verdot, 50% Sauvignon Blanc Winemaking: Whole cluster fruit, hand harvested was put into a stainless steel tank. Natural yeast fermentation, Carbonic Fermentation took place for 10 days. The fruit was pressed and fermentation finished in stainless steel. Farming: Organic Aging: Aged in old wood barrels for 5 months ABV: 11.5% Production: 200 cases A blend of 50% Petit Verdot & 50% Sauvignon Blanc, farmed organically in Lodi. 10-day whole-cluster carbonic maceration in tank. The fruit was then pressed into a stainless steel tank to finish fermentation. Aged 5 months in neutral barrels before bottling. 11.5% abv.
