Sunset in Milos

As my husband and I watched yet another marvelous Greek sunset, we sat on a wall in front of a church in Plaka, on the island of Milos. Below us was not much more than just the Greek dirt island terrain. The sky faded into hues of orange and pink as the vast sea reflected the same colors. The sun gradually melted into the sky behind faint clouds that left bright orange streaks of the sun. For me, nothing is more peaceful than watching the sun bid us farewell over a body of water.
