This was painted the day Kayla found out her sweet, disabled rescue senior pup needed to be put to sleep. She spent 6 hours painting this scene to depict what she was feeling. After a gut-wrenching year with the loss of several other loved ones, and extremely trying personal matters, this painting represents grief coupled with life's joys.
