Newton Vineyard was one of the first wineries in the Spring Mountain AVA and is renowned for producing unfiltered wines that showcase the unique terroir of the region. In 1990, Newton was the first winery to produce and sell an unfiltered Chardonnay within the United States, making it a pioneer in the Napa wine industry. The vineyard's steep slopes and diverse microclimates provide ideal conditions for growing Pinot Noir, resulting in wines that express the elegance and complexity of this varietal.
