This piece depicts the constant epic struggle within the self each night in your dreams. At it's most basic, it's the war of light vs. dark, but I also see this as a battle for motivation, against depression, for creativity and creation, for ideal existence. Each day, the darkness moves in as much as it can, and you must strive to keep it at bay and let your light shine.
