The Create Joy Quilt Pattern was designed during a moment of reminiscing about receiving “art supplies” every Christmas from my grandparents. Who doesn’t love a “new” box of colored pencils? The nice tins and perfectly sharp points? These were my favorite things to get at Christmas. The pattern is for a confident beginner, as the pattern involves the use of a few cutting templates for assembling the pencil point. Along with some strip piecing and sub-cutting. Here's all the details for the Create Joy Quilt Pattern: Finished Size: Throw 52x58" Skill Level: Confident Beginner The pattern requires basic quilting knowledge of piecing and use of a 1/4" seam allowance.  Unfinished Pencil Halves at 3 x 24 1/2" The blocks involve the strip piecing with sub-cutting and a few cutting templates for the pencil points.
