The Henry the Piñata Quilt Pattern was inspired by the Fiesta celebrations that take place in San Antonio, Texas (my hometown) every March/April. The pattern features offset pieces, to give the effect of a paper piñata donkey.  This would be a wonderful pattern for a confident beginner or seasoned quilter looking to make a fun festive quilt, perfect for spring time or a celebration. The pattern is fat-quarter friendly and involves traditional piecing with half-square triangles, half-rectangle triangles, strip piecing, as while as piecing from a template.
