Marilyn McConnell’s poems have appeared in a number of journals including Concho River Review, Illuminations, Poem, Pebble Lake Review, Freefall, and others. Her chapbook, Return Trips, was published by Kelsay Books in 2018. As a visual artist as well as a writer, she has worked as a high school art and English teacher, a graphic artist, and a preschool teacher with an emphasis, of course, on art and language.
