Still Available on Amazon Justin Evans spent his early years in Utah. He joined the Army in 1988 and served for three and a half years in various places throughout the U.S. and abroad. After leaving the military, he married and went to school in Utah, earning a B.S. degree in History and English Education from Southern Utah University. Later, in 2004 he received an M.Ed. in Literacy Studies from the University of Nevada, Reno. He taught as an adjunct at Utah Valley University before taking a teaching position in rural Nevada, where he has lived with his wife Becky and their sons for the past sixteen years, teaching history and English at the local high school. In that time, he has published four chapbooks and three full length collections of poetry.
