Still Available on Amazon Nancy Scott has been managing editor of U.S.1 Worksheets, the journal of the U.S.1 Poets’ Cooperative in New Jersey, since 2004. She began writing poetry in the mid-’90s. Author of seven previous collections of poetry, she writes about a wide range of topics, including social justice, war and terrorism, childhood memories, ekphrasis, humor, travel, and her granddaughter, Leah. Her most recent collection, Running Down Broken Cement (Main Street Rag, 2014), was inspired by her long career as a caseworker for the State of New Jersey and also as a foster parent. Her poetry has appeared in many journals and anthologies, such as Witness, Slant, Mudfish, Verse Wisconsin, Blue Lyra Review, Poet Lore, The Ledge, Journal of New Jersey Poets, NY Quarterly, Pemmican, Segue, Cyclamens and Swords, Raven Chronicles, Slipstream and Out of Line.
