Ethan Goffman is an environmental and transit writer in Rockville, Maryland and a part-time teacher at Montgomery College. His nonfiction has appeared in E: The Environmental Magazine, EarthTalk, Grist, The Progressive, Greater Greater Washington, the Baltimore Sun, Mobility Lab, The SSPP Blog, and elsewhere. He is co-founder of It Takes a Community, a Montgomery College initiative that brings poetry to both students and local residents.
