'Risen' Print

Detailed print of my original illustration titled "Risen." I wanted this illustration to reflect the hope, love, and joy that is possible through Christ’s resurrection and atonement. I imagine that even the flowers, butterflies, and birds were rejoicing on Easter morning when Christ was resurrected. This illustration is a reminder to me of the miracle of Jesus Christ’s atonement, and what it means for each of us. A few details I love: Butterflies are a symbol of rebirth and change — a beautiful reminder of how the atonement works in our lives. Doves are a symbol of peace, freedom, and love. Flowers are a symbol of joy. I think that flowers are a gift straight from God to bring more joy & happiness into our lives. I love that flowers are often used to celebrate, but also to comfort. I love that the expression on Christ’s face is loving and welcoming, inviting us to draw nearer to Him & use the gift of the atonement to become more like Him. Print Details: Textured Linen Pri
