DREAM WEAVER MIST || FAT AND THE MOON

One of the things we take very seriously around the Fat and the Moon homestead is magic, plant magic.I am so lucky to work with plants everyday and I continue to be amazed at their subtle and dramatic effect on the people and animals around me.One of the plants which has had a long history (or herstory if your hip like that) of magical use is mugwort, artimesia vulgaris. Artemisia - a word derived from Artemis, the goddess of the forest, the hunt and the moon. If you’ve ever met a moon goddess huntress, you’ll know what a bad ass she is. When I lived in Brooklyn, there were huge stands of mugwort I visited everyday and made a little tea from her. I have to say, the more I hung out with mugwort, the more I realized I needed to come into my own bad assness and follow my dreams- not other people's expectations.This herb has a lot going for it, but one of its aspects is a connection with dreams.
