
Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Studio 4K Pro
The Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Studio 4K Pro represents an enhanced 1 RU file-based deck that incorporates the functionality and control typical of professional tape decks within a digital framework. This iteration improves upon earlier HyperDeck Studio models by introducing several new features, such as support for 12G-SDI, two additional SD card slots, USB-C recording output, timecode input and output, reference input and output, a reengineered jog/shuttle wheel, 10G Ethernet connectivity, and a front-mounted speaker. The Studio 4K Pro captures video in 10-bit 4:2:2 color using ProRes or DNxHD codecs, along with H.264 and H.265 compression formats. It is equipped with two SSD slots and two SD card slots, enabling nearly continuous recording; when one SSD reaches capacity, recording seamlessly transitions to the other, and the SD card slots support hot-swapping.
