Tripartite Vest Class - June 14

Instructor: Sandy Level: intermediate to advanced Fee: $35 Date: Saturday June 14th, 9-11 am Description:  I just love this vest that Stephen West has created. Tripartite is a perfect piece to trim an outfit. This is a good way to jump into lace without using a chart. This class will work on creating a knit structure with the proper tension to allow stretch. We will start the pattern in class. I will offer some pattern techniques that will help you experience this lace project with less confusion and all while knitting a fabulous work of art.  We will definitely be going over blocking skills too. Yarn: Lace weight 780 to 880 yards Needles: 3-US 4  32" circulars, a  5.0mm crochet Hook Pattern: Tripartite- a $7.00 Ravelry download, don't forget to print it out Supplies: your knit kit Note: At home you will need blocking pins, but towels can be used instead of blocking mats.  I would highly recommend using the eucalan -no rinse, delicate wash solution. Homework: knit a swatch- 4"x4" ***
