Machete Chopper Knife

This blade was completely covered in rust and heavily pitted, but it has such a great feel in the hand that I just had to bring it back to good health.  I did some heavy grinding to get most of the rust off.  Then I soaked it for days in vinegar.  Followed up by continual sanding in different grits.  I finished it off with a hefty amount of brass-wire power brushing to show off this hearty blade.  And it was all worth it.  It feels ready to go trekking through the jungles of northern Philippines; which is where I found it. - Kombat Instruments Limited has been in the weapons and martial arts business for over 30 years.  Throughout these decades, members of Team KIL have collected thousands of unique weapons during our international travels, or at auctions, or as gifts from our fighter friends around the world.  We've kept some of these weapons to showcase in our personal collections.  Many have been donated to museums.  But there are still several vintage weapons that need a good home.
