This is one of 100 paintings I did while participating in The 100 Day Project from February to May, 2024. The painting is based on a photo I took while on my daily walk in the Mojave Desert where I live. This one is called Cholla in the Sunshine for the backlit cholla glowing in the morning sun. This is an original 6 X 6" painting done in oils on canvas board.
