An oversized shelf below the drawer allows easy access to the CPAP machine. We also include a hole in the bottom for feeding the cord out to an outlet below. The open shelf below the drawer measures 8" tall. width and depth are determined by your size choice. Interior depth is 1.25" less than exterior. Interior width is also 1.25" less than exterior width due to the thickness of the sides.
