24.8mm Zero-Background Plate with Well

Zero-background plates are an ideal solution when only a small volume of sample material is available.  This 24.8mm x 1mm insert (made to be compatible with Bruker factory sample holders) is made from a pure, single-crystal silicon wafer grown at a specific orientation such that no x-rays that strike the surface are diffracted into the detector.  All plates are cut in-house at KSA. For slightly larger sample volumes or applications that benefit from a fixed irradiated surface area, an added well is a great solution.  Commonly requested well sizes (diameter x depth) are the listed options.  For custom well sizes, choose the custom option and specify the size with order.
